About the artwork

This was shot during a tough time in Ruby's life. She was vulnerable but still showed up. I think she's one of the strongest people I know.

I love working with my subjects to capture moments. I create a safe space where they can feel safe, confident and beautiful.

IWD 2019 is about #balanceforbetter. What does this mean to you as a female photographer?

It's about no getting bogged down in the stuff I can't control and embracing all the fabulous opportunities that come my way.

What does this mean to you as a human?

To be kind and understanding of what others are dealing with in life and support them in any way I can.
